It is “egocentric”, lacking recognition that others’ points of view are different from one’s own. It requires determining whether the question you are egocentrism is important, whether it is answerable, whether you understand the requirements for settling the question, for solving the problem. Many people take a stance based on what they hear others say rather than searching for and learning the information for themselves.

In society a distraction may be crritical as simple as someone humming while your working on a project. Another mental barrier could be seen as low self-esteem and it too is more self-directed. Fear of challenge is when someone fails to stand up to others with their beliefs of how things should be done because they are scared that people are going to challenge how they believe people should do things some people believe this is a sign of weakness to change their position on an issue.
The best method is to ask for their explanations thinking what they do or say.
In society, someone who practices one religion may avoid talking with someone with a different religion. Also becacuse they build themselves up so much in theier headss, it could be the way to mask incluce they really see.
Denial, Ignorance, and Distractions are all great examples of absentmindedness. Distractions are a perfect way to keep you from having to think about anything.
